'Charlie's at The Towers' has opened at The Quay in Westport.
One of Mayo most popular establishments for outdoor-dining in Mayo is back open after closing at the end of last September.
The Towers at The Quay in Westport was previously run by Westport businessman Tom Bourke but he announced in September that he was leaving The Towers to concentrate on his new venture in Westport town centre, JJ O'Malley's Bar and Restaurant on Bridge Street.
Many people in Westport had lamented the closure of The Towers, given its prime location in Westport Quay but the good news has spread this week that the popular destination is now reopen under new management.

Lydon House Catering, who are headquartered in Galway City, are now running the premises, and have rebranded it as 'Charlie's at The Towers'.
The hugely successful company will be well-known to the Mayo public as they provide all the catering at Ballinrobe Racecourse (who wished them well this afternoon on social media) and they also provide the same service at Galway and Roscommon Racecourses.
Lydon's also currently run the Solar Cafe in Galway, the Franklin Restaurants in Galway and Limerick, and the well-known Donnelly's Bar and Restaurant in Barna, a coastal village in Connemara. For more see 'Charlie's at The Towers' on Facebook.
