Claremorris-based company CBE have recently announced a multitude of senior promotions within the business

Mayo business announces key promotions

A local Mayo business has announced that multiple major promotions have taken place across the company.

Central Business Equipment(CBE) are a Claremorris-based company which specialise in EPoS items such as weighing scales, barcode scanners, and credit card terminals.

They have been serving the community since its foundation by Gerard and Catherine Concannon in 1980. Now, 45 years on, they have announced a raft of promotions to senior positions within the business.

Knock native Noel Prendergast has been handed the role of R&D Retail Applications Manager, having worked for the company since 1998.

John Marren is another assuming another title 20 years on from joining the organisation. The Sligo native, and University of Limerick graduate, has been promoted to Cloud Program Manager.

Hollymount-based Jimmy Killeen has taken on the position of R&D Process Manager, moving up from the role of R&D Program Lead.

Nick Skehan, from Dublin, nine years after first joining the company, has assumed the role of Training Manager.
