Mayo County Council have announced that a road in Castlebar is set ot be closed to the public for the coming days.
In a statement, the Council confirmed that the rear access road to Lough Lannagh from the Newport Road will be shut off during the day from yesterday (Thursday, May 8) until next Wednesday, May 14.

The Council also moved to apologise to those impacted by the closure of the road, which is just under one kilometre long.
